Otto Addo. Sacked. Effective immediately. I put the phone down. Picked it up again. Read it a second time. Not because I did not believe it — but because I was trying to identify the exact feeling. It was not surprise. Not relief either. The particular Ghanaian emotion of watching something inevitable arrive later than it had any right to.
